Residents around the controversial Suburban Rail Loop are questioning the misuse of community grants, as the Victorian government comes under pressure to address its massive debt black hole.
The first stage of the SRL project - the most expensive in the state’s history - plans to build six new stations from Cheltenham to Box Hill and eventually connect the suburbs along the line to Melbourne Airport.
