ARLINGTON, Texas — Mike Trout finally has his stolen base.
Trout still has the same speed as he did back then. His sprint speed is still in the 96th percentile in the majors. “It’s hard for me to slide feet first,” Trout said. “I always slide head first. The wear and tear over the years has an effect. Just trying to be cautious of that.”
