An hour later there were around 100 residents in Brighton’s Church Street, where local MP and shadow planning minister James Newbury led chants and addressed the crowd. Local Bayside resident Michael Saba said that 20-storey towers would be “massive overdevelopment” for Brighton, pointing out there was currently no building over five or six storeys.
