Annastacia Palaszczuk’s career plans post-politics have been revealed amid revelations the former Queensland premier has hired Sydney-based celebrity agent Max Markson as her publicist.
Annastacia Palaszczuk has teamed up with a celebrity agent as her publicist which will see the former Queensland premier speaking at key events and even potentially signing a book deal.
Speaking with Sky News’ Laura Jayes on Wednesday, Markson praised the former Queensland Labor leader as “very talented”, saying she has “great charisma, intelligence and she tells great stories”. “We talked about it then and I told her what I can do and how much I’d love to work with her,” Markson said.Markson said he had no doubt the 54-year-old would be in demand across Australia and he said he hoped she would be working at international engagements as well.“I just think she’s interesting and she’s fascinating and that’s what will generate work for her.Markson knocked back suggestions from Jayes the former premier was a polarising figure, saying he was not of that opinion “at all”.
