UPDATE: Tony Lamar was captured Tuesday evening in Richmond, Kentucky by the state police. When Cobb returned to her home in rural Calhoun County, authorities said White attacked her while she was unloading her groceries and forced into the trunk of a vehicle and taking her to his Anniston home. Using the technology and resources of the East Alabama Metro Crime Center, they identified White as the suspect and got a picture and license plate for his vehicle.
Calhoun County sheriff's officials are searching for kidnapping suspect Tony Lamar White. They said White could be in a silver Chrysler 300 with license plate 11JA702. In 2013, investigators announced they believed two rape cases, separated by a year and more than 30 miles, were related.
