NSW has recorded 9,995 new COVID-19 cases and 14 deaths, while Victoria has reported 8,501 new infections and nine deaths as the state prepares to ease restrictions:
There are 1,447 people with the virus in hospital - a drop of 31 and there are 92 people in ICU.
Meanwhile, paramedics have joined nurses and midwives, taking industrial action as they lobby for better conditions and pay.
