Nine's Harvey Biggs reports that health authorities are now working with the freight industry about introducing vaccine requirements for drivers. The latest case follows five other drivers who later tested positive for coronavirus after entering from the eastern states in the past fortnight.Close to 1000 people identified as close contacts who had attended any of the more than two dozen Tier 1 and 2 exposure sites a are now in quarantine.Meanwhile, a number of changes to private functions have been announced and are now in place.
At invitation-only events, 150 guests can attend while drinking standing up is now allowed at a density of one person per two square metres.Dancing at weddings is now allowed but only for the bridal party.Organisers must have a COVID-19 marshal and an approved contact tracing system, independent from the contact tracing system used by the relevant licenced premises.
