The Prime Minister was told to 'just answer the question' in a fiery radio interview with 2GB's Ben Fordham over details of the Indigenous Voice to Parliament.
The Prime Minister then pointed to a section of the report that referred to a process underway in New South Wales about an Indigenous Voice.
"This is what the experts are saying. Because if the Voice makes a recommendation which is not endorsed by government or ignored, then legally they can take you to the High Court." "And that's why you have legislation before the Parliament that will determine the nature of that detail. But the constitutional change that is envisaged has been drafted by some of the best legal minds in the country."
