Ant McPartlin issued a brutal 11-word statement when he split from his ex-wife, Lisa Armstrong, in 2018, amid reports that Lisa was told that they would not be making a joint announcement. Their split was announced in 2018, after they had been married since 2006, but the statement, made from Ant's side, said: "Ant is very sad to announce that, after 11 years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa.
Ant and Lisa, now 47, had a large £6million home in West London and a dog named Hurley, who they now share custody of. They wanted kids but found it hard, as Ant shared with Radio Times in 2013: "Lisa and I would love to have kids. We're trying. It's tougher than you think when you get a bit older." Lisa was reportedly "heartbroken" at learning of Ant's new relationship and on Twitter she previously said: "Yeah My friend and OUR Pa who I let into OUR home."
It seems there's no love lost between Lisa and her ex-husband, Ant, and she recently made a number of cryptic digs on Instagram, including one that said she is “tired of people”.
