Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had to fight back tears while announcing the question and constitutional amendment for the government’s Voice to Parliament referendum.

The Prime Minister said the referendum working group and the government have agreed on the provisions that all Australians will vote on in the Voice to Parliament referendum.

He said not putting the Voice to Parliament to a vote is to “concede defeat”, asserting his government is “all in” on making difference. “This is not about symbolism, this is about recognition – something that is far more important,” Mr Albanese said during a media conference on Thursday.Read More
