Now back by popular demand, the Eastern European-inspired bakery that was once featured in an episode of Bourdain's show"" will make delivery stops in South San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento and Redwood City in March. Piroshky Piroshky has been touring the country this year to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
"If these guys were down the street from me, I would go on a bender — like I’d eat this every day for two months," Bourdain said in the 2007 episode of"No Reservations." The bakery will stop in San Jose on March 13, in Redwood City on March 14, in South San Francisco on March 15 and in Sacramento on March 17. Customers must place their orders in advance , spend a minimum of $50, and pick them up in the designated time window for the event. Items are flash frozen for delivery.
Customers can choose from treats such as the smoked salmon pâté piroshky, the chocolate cream hazelnut roll, the cinnamon cardamom braid or the beef and cheese piroshky.
