Police found themselves outnumbered by a group apparently bent on vigilante action.

Local Muay Thai gym owner Torin O'Brien had previously posted a $5000 reward on social media for information on youths believed to have robbed a home in town.Bizarre scenes erupted in Rockhampton today as some residents took the youth crime crisis into their own hands following a rally.Police found themselves outnumbered by a group apparently bent on vigilante action.Some of those who attended the protests spilled onto the streets to hammer on the doors of those they believed responsible.
