The public has lashed out at a Brisbane school which has given parents a week to sign an amended enrolment contract that compares homosexuality to paedophilia and says children must identify as their birth gender.
page has garnered over 57,000 signatures and thousands of comments from people condemning the school for their “disgusting hatred and anti-human stance”.
“This school & its Church should be utterly ashamed of themselves for preaching such blatant & ugly hatred for fellow human beings.” “Importantly, this freedom does not target any particular group or person. Our Declaration of Faith covers a range of areas that INC considers are important to a faithful Christian life.”
“Citipointe does not judge students on their sexuality or gender identity and we would not make a decision about their enrolment in the College simply on that basis.”
