And the Atletico Madrid megastar is refusing to write off the chances of Brendan Rodgers’ team bursting out of the section and into the knockout stages. Griezmann has handed big respect to the Scottish champions as he insisted Group E is no soft touch for the Spaniards. Celtic start their campaign on Tuesday week with a clash against Feyenoord in Rotterdam.
Griezmann said: “Celtic are a team who consistently win their league, score a lot of goals and will be a very difficult game away. This group is wide open. This is not an easy group. I don’t buy into that at all just because there is not one of the favourites in the competition.
