Mad Max fans will be delighted to hear that while starring in the upcoming prequel Furiosa, Anya Taylor-Joy was ‘the dirtiest’ and ‘bloodiest’ she had ever been.
Joy will star as Imperator Furiosa, a renegade warrior who first appeared in Mad Max: Fury Road played by Charlize Theron.Speaking about the role, the actor, 26, said she is ‘incredibly proud’ of the film and those she worked alongside.
‘It’s the dirtiest and the bloodiest I have ever been, which is saying something, genuinely saying something,’ The Witch star told‘Any time I get to be dirty or bloody and not perfectly prim and pretty, I’m just having a ball, that’s where I feel most comfortable. So yeah, Furiosa was definitely right up my street.’Despite not having her own driving license, the star also revealed she took part in her own stunt driving for the film.
