Apink members decide to part ways with IST Entertainment, but promise to resume group activities
We would like to notify you regarding Apink’s future activities.
After a thorough and serious discussion with each of the Apink members in light of the approaching of their exclusive contract expirations, IST Entertainment will bring its beautiful, 12-year relationship with members Chorong, Bomi, Namjoo, and Hayoung to an end as of April., as the artist has decided to renew her exclusive contract.
Eunji will greet her fans with her next project as well as through her solo music as soon as possible, and IST intends on supporting her consistently so that she can make her mark in each of her fields of activity. Regardless of the individual decisions regarding their contracts, all of the members promised to continue their activities as a group and showed their motivation and affection toward doing so. IST Entertainment will work to protect this team through mutual cooperation with each of the members.
The company would also like to take this opportunity to deliver its sincere thanks to the members of Apink for accompanying us on this long journey of 12-years, during which the group was able to solidify its position in the world of K-Pop as one of its representative girl groups. We ask fans for your unchanging love and support as the members prepare to begin new journeys.Best of luck to each of the Apink members in their future endeavors, both as a group and as individual artists.
