Apple has just released an unexpected update that you’re going to want to know about.
Updating is the definition of straightforward: open the Settings app on the device and then choose General, then Software Update. Once you’ve clicked on Download and Install, you’ll be golden.Actually, this is a very specific release, aimed at sorting three issues. First, and most importantly, it’s designed to fix about the most important issue there is with any phone: battery life.
Apple says, “Battery may drain more quickly than expected after updating to iOS 15.4”—or iPadOS 15.4—and this update is here to sort it. Personally, it’s not an issue I had experienced, but enough did for Apple to need to rectify it. Secondly, and just as importantly for the relevant audience, braille devices, Apple says, may become unresponsive while navigating text or displaying an alert. That’s all Apple has revealed, though security content may follow. Stay tuned.
