Of course, you’ll be too busy studying to stream all the movies and shows available, but here’s how to sign up anyway.Apple is sweetening the pot this year with a back-to-school promo providing up to $150 in Apple gift cards and 20% off on AppleCare+. The promotion ends on Oct. 2 and applies to parents of new or current university or college students, faculty, staff and teachers of all grade levels.The longer answer is that the company could decide to investigate whether you’re legit after your purchase, if you use an email account not associated with your college or university. But that seems rare.. You might want to register for an account to be extra safe and make it easier to confirm your student status.
Now, as for the deals they offer, Apple limits their student discount to Macs, iPads and Apple Music.
