We are seeking a seasonedto join our team on a hybrid basis in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and deploying custom applications using the Microsoft development stack.
This role requires advanced skills in C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and database technologies, combined with an understanding of Agile practices and DevOps pipelines.Responsible for designing, developing, and assembling custom information systems based on IT requirements. They create functional and technical designs, models, components, code, unit tests, and documentation. The developer will also work with databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, and MySQL to develop applications end-to-end using the Microsoft custom development stack. They should utilize the latest .NET Framework and proven application development processes, methods, and tools.8–10 years’ professional experience in software/application development using the Microsoft .NET stack Familiarity with Continuous Development and Deployment Frameworks, such as Microsoft DevOps tools and Agile delivery methods.Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, and MySQLProficiency with Microsoft DevOps, CI/CD tools, and Agile development methodologiesExcellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsA relevant tertiary qualification in a related technical fieldLocation: Cape Town – Hybrid
