Archie Battersbee has died after his life-support is switched off
Devastated Hollie earlier vowed to "fight to the end" for her son.
She said: "We will fight until the bitter end. We're going to fight for the right for my son to live."Holly had requested to have her boy taken away from the Royal London Hospital to a hospice to die.But judge Mrs Justice Theis said Archie should remain at hospital when treatment is withdrawn.responsible for Archie's care, who found the boy's condition is too unstable for him to be transferred elsewhere.
Doctors fear an ambulance journey "would most likely hasten the premature deterioration the family wish to avoid".She earlier called refusing to move Archie "inhuman" and said it is "completely barbaric and absolutely disgusting that we're not even allowed to choose where Archie takes his last moments".
Archie's family then sought help from the European Court of Human Rights , but they said they would not intervene by applying the “interim measures” permitted in “exceptional” cases.
