Subscribe now., Harvard professor Avi Loeb said UAP research, "deserves to go mainstream" and that NASA Administrator Bill Nelson's recent comments are in line with the work of his Galileo Project.
Administrator Nelson's "sensationalism to science" remark echoes "the narrative of the Galileo Project that I am leading," Loeb toldin an interview over email, in which he also discussed the stigma of UAP research, the findings of the Galileo Project, and his recent expedition to the Pacific Ocean.
"The reflection of sunlight from it changed by a factor of 10 as it was tumbling every 8 hours, suggesting a flat, pancake-like shape. It was pushed away from the sun by a mysterious force without showing any sign of a cometary tail" he continued. The project has yet to capture the holy grail of a UFO observation, but Loeb explained it is making good progress in building its network.
"We found molten droplets [or spherules] from the meteor fireball along the meteor path that have an extrasolar composition, with elements like beryllium , lanthanum , and uranium more concentrated by a factor of hundreds up to a thousand relative to the standard composition of solar system materials," Loeb said.
