“Our initial investigation has revealed that the two individuals are related and became involved in an argument within the residence,” Lt. Moore said.
Lt. Jason Moore, with the Sheriff’s Office, said units were dispatched at 8 p.m. to Perry Street. He said prior to their arrival, a 23-year-old man who had been shot was driven to a hospital for treatment.
At 8:10 p.m., Moore said, police were dispatched to an address on Gator Bowl Boulevard in reference to the suspected shooter — a 33-year-old man — wanting to turn themselves in to authorities.
