Australian music icons Olivia Newton-John, Judith Durham and Archie Roach will be honoured at this year’s ARIA Awards in tribute performances from some of the nation’s leading musicians.– with music directed by pop singer Tones and I and featuring electronic music group Peking Duk. They will perform Newton-John hits includingThe 2022 ARIA awards are set to host an Olivia Newton-John tribute and feature Natalie Imbruglia as co-host and performances from Tones And I.
Meanwhile, artists including dance group RÜFÜS DU SOL, Baker Boy, Flume featuring MAY-A, Amyl and the Sniffers and Vance Joy, each with five or more nominations, will perform their hit songs from the past year. “We’re so excited to have this group of incredible Australian artists showcasing their music on the ARIA Awards stage here and around the world,” ARIA chief executive Annabelle Herd said.“We are also honoured to celebrate the legacy of homegrown superstars Uncle Archie Roach, Judith Durham and Olivia Newton-John with moving and joyful tributes that will be nothing short of spectacular.”
