Arizona Opera brings 'The Sound of Music' to Tucson stage

This is the first time in the opera's 52-year history it's mounting the iconic Rogers and Hammerstein musical featuring a husband and wife in the lead roles.

But this weekend, the hills will come alive with the sound of the Rogers and Hammerstein classic when Arizona Opera mounts the production at the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall on Saturday, March 11, and Sunday, March 12.
