Arizona was assigned a No. 2 NCAA Tournament seed Saturday during the committee's early bracket reveal of teams on track to receive one of the top four seeds in every region.

As a top four seed, the Wildcats appear likely to lead a four-team pod that would likely play first-weekend games in either Sacramento, California or Denver. If they remained in the West and won their first two games, they would play second-weekend games in Las Vegas.

UCLA was given the final No. 2 seed, and put in the East Region, meaning the Bruins would have to play second-weekend games in New York if they advanced past the first weekend. Although there are still three weeks left in the regular season, including conference tournament championship week, most teams wind up being assigned a seed on Selection Sunday at or within one line of where they are placed during the February early reveal.
