An Arizona wife who allegedly put bleach in her husband’s coffee has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder.
An Arizona woman allegedly tried to poison her US Army airman husband by pouring chlorine in his coffee, a report said.
Roby drank the funny-tasting coffee for two or three weeks prior to buying pool testing strips. He first tested the tap water, which came back normal.according to AZ Family. Melody Felicano Johnson, 39, was being held on a $250,000 bond after being charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and adding harmful substances to food/drink/medicine.When the family moved back stateside in late June, he set up a camera inside their hotel room near Davis Monthan Air Force Base to watch his wife. The surveillance camera captured the moment his wife poured the alleged chemical into his drink.
He returned to the police department on July 18 with more video evidence, which allegedly showed her putting bleach into the coffee machine before brewing.
