Evila Yanes, 44, was found dead Oct. 30, and authorities are looking for a man she had been in a relationship.
The woman, identified as Yanes, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office determined her death was a homicide caused by blunt force trauma to her head. “In the weeks since then, our homicide unit has worked diligently on this case,” Deputy Chief Kyle Dishko, who oversees the department’s central investigation division, said Wednesday. “We are asking for the public’s assistance in helping us with the case.”Police said during the news conference that Moreno Castaneda and Yanes were in a “lengthy dating relationship.”
