The Orchard County won last year's meeting by 10 points and were impressive winners over Fermanagh last time out while the Mournemen need to reach the Ulster final to avoid the Tailteann Cup

Ulster Senior Football Championship semi-final: Armagh 4-10 Down 0-12 Armagh sealed their place in the Ulster SFC final in emphatic style with a 10-point rout of Down in rain-sodden St Tiernach’s Park. Despite the difficult conditions, Armagh plundered four goals, two in each half, as Down struggled to reach the heights of their quarter-final victory over Donegal.

Down failed to score until Pat Havern’s point from a free 23 minutes into the second half and Armagh had netted another two goals by that stage. Ciaran Mackin reacted quickest to palm the ball past Niall Kane after Down failed to clear their lines before Rian O’Neill showed a clean pair of heels to Niall McParland and finished in style.
