The LAPD confirmed in March 2021 that it was investigating allegations made by a woman identified as Effie, who claimed the actor had “violently” raped her.
Hammer and his attorney blasted her allegations as “outrageous.”“From day one, Mr. Hammer has maintained that all of his interactions with [Effie] — and every other sexual partner of his for that matter — have been completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory,” the actor’s attorney previously told Page Six.
“[Effie’s] attention seeking and ill-advised legal bid will only make it more difficult for real victims of sexual violence to get the justice they deserve.” The “Social Network” star, who is going through a divorce from Elizabeth Chambers , also has been accused of having cannibalistic fetishes.
