The U.S. Army is rolling out a female face for its recruiting chatbot, hoping to enlist more women as it struggles to meet recruitment goals because of the strong economy

First Lt. Stripe, a female avatar, will join the existing male avatar, Sgt. Star, on the Army’s website in the coming months.
