Arne Slot will officially take over at Anfield on June 1 after Jurgen Klopp stepped down at the end of the 2023/24 season
Igor Biscan has shared what was missing for Liverpool last season, giving some advice to incoming boss Arne Slot .
"At times this season it looked to me that they might need a really good finisher in front of goal," he said. "I would go for a proper centre forward, a goal scorer, because they've created so many chances this season and missed a lot. That is the reason they didn’t stay in the title race." "He needs the same amount of support that every coach has and every player has, whoever plays for Liverpool. It's a good team, it's a young team, there is a lot of potential and of course I expect Liverpool to challenge for the trophies in years to come."
"Everybody was happy because the long wait was over. Also the Champions League trophy is a massive one too. Not only the trophies and so many big games, but the way they played, the way they connected with the fans and the special way they played football just brought so many people to this club and won so many new supporters and this is something which is down to a manager as well.
