Ivan Toney is expected to leave Brentford this summer Brentford have reportedly reduced their asking price for Ivan Toney, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all in the hunt for the striker as he enters the final 12 months of his contract. Despite a lacklustre goalscoring return at the end of last season following his return from an eight-month gambling ban, Toney remains high in demand after scoring 32 goals in his first two seasons in the Premier League.
And although insisting his focus remains with Brentford and the upcoming Euros, Toney has said he would be ‘ready’ if a bigger club came in for him over the summer. Ivan Toney is in Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad for Euro 2024 ‘I have a year left. Going into a major tournament, that is my main focus now. But after this, I’ll be going back to Brentford and I will be a Brentford player still,’ he told talkSPORT. ‘It’s nice to be linked with other clubs. But I’ve had this in the past.
