Haworth Art Gallery in Accrington is holding the event on Sunday between noon and 4pm, organised and produced in conjunction with the Friends of Haworth Art Gallery. This is a day that is dedicated to immersing the public into the history of Haworth Art Gallery and Hyndburn more broadly, with the help of a wide range of completely free activities and performances taking place throughout the day.
Her performances will transport people back in time and help to reconnect them with their geographical heritage. Along the way, guests will learn more about the history of the Haworth family, all whilst taking in the beautiful views of Woodnook Nature Reserve and experience tales of the industrial heritage of the area.
Residents can join the team in meeting the likes of Mr Beech the Coachman, who will relay the story of the Stables and Motor House at Haworth Art Gallery where William Haworth kept his prized Rolls Royce Silver Ghost motor car.
