Todd Fuller painted the portraits of 30 Liddell Power Station workers to mark the site's closure. The experience changed his perspective forever.
"Like a lot of children, your parents just go to work. You don't necessarily understand what work is," Todd said.
It was this career that inspired Todd to paint his dad's portrait, along with 30 other Liddell workers, as part of an artist residency project designed to mark "I had the induction and from the moment I was there, and I met the staff, my opinion changed. It was like day and night.As part of her series called Mother, Ms Rath used charcoal to draw everyday objects within the power plant.
"It was this strange kind of humorous situation where you've got these mini people running this massive plant," he said."I heated them up to about the same temperature as what would be those furnaces and then branded into plywood sheets," he said.The future of Liddell, which is owned by energy company AGL, is set to look very different with plans to transform it into a renewable energy hub.
