Police have asked the public to keep a look out in case it is advertised for sale
PC Lee Hammond said: “The piece is approximately 1m x 1m in size and it’s possible that someone may have taken it thinking it was a stage prop, not realising its true value.
“I am appealing for the person who took it to please get in touch so that it can be returned to its rightful owner.“Equally, I would like to hear from anyone else who thinks they may have come across it or seen it advertised for sale.”Anyone with information is asked to email [email protected] or call 101 quoting crime reference 41/99657/22.
