Yesterday, the ABC's election analyst Antony Green called a second Labor seat in Brindabella for Taimus Werner-Gibbings. The second Liberal incumbent in the seat, Elizabeth Kikkert, was disendorsed just weeks out from the election and, although she then ran for Family First, was defeated. The Independents for Canberra are holding out hope of an "outside chance" that one of their candidates, David Pollard, will be elected.
