Asda has announced its plans to provide bonuses for customers preparing for the return to school following the summer holidays.
A new 'Back to School bonus' will be introduced on the supermarket chain's Rewards app. Customers will also be offered 10 per cent back on school uniforms alongside a £2 Cashpot bonus when they spend £10 on other back-to-school essentials, including stationary, lunch boxes, and drink bottles. It comes after research revealed that many families in the country are struggling to foot the costs of school uniforms. A survey of Asda customers revealed 25 per cent would buy fewer school uniforms this year compared to previous years.Meanwhile, 42 per cent said they would try and make old uniforms last as long as possible before replacing them.

Customers who purchase school uniforms can also take advantage of a 100-day guarantee where school uniforms can be returned within 100 days of purchase if they are not happy with it.
