'Aggressive' beggars are being targeted by Nottinghamshire Police
Shoppers in a part of Nottingham plagued by anti-social behaviour say the area is "getting worse". Nottinghamshire Police has launched an operation to tackle "aggressive" beggars in the Hyson Green area, particularly outside Asda.
"There's a lot more dumping of rubbish too. It's got worse, definitely got worse." Another woman, who wished to remain anonymous, added: "They use [the hub] for storage. "I don't like the missus coming down on her own. I don't see many police about, there hasn't been anyone in the hub while I've been coming down."
