“He was very tough, but also the first person to wrap his arm around me and I think it was tough love in almost a tongue-in-cheek kind of way,” Barty said.“He helped me understand everything he was doing was for my growth and for me to try and learn and problem solve and that probably held me in really good stead going later in my career.”
