"Everything happens at the same time," Oscar-winning filmmaker Asif Kapadia told the Documentary Roundtable. "We're shooting, we're doing interviews, we're still doing research while we're cutting.
"It's a pop culture icon, that already exists," Kapadia continued. "You think you know everything, but if you somehow reframe it and look at it in a slightly different angle, there is a deeper meaning to these characters and stories that say something about a world that we're living in."is set to air Feb. 9 on SundanceTV.
