North Korea has fired a suspected ballistic missile toward waters off its east coast in a show of force about a week after its leader struck a military defence pact with visiting Russian President Vladimir Putin that alarmed the United States and its allies.

“Senator Payman has made clear that she wants to continue to represent the people of Western Australia in the Australian Senate as a Labor senator.”
