The Wikileaks founder faced spending the rest of his life in a United States prison if he was found guilty under the Espionage Act. The documents suggest Assange is expected to return to Australia “at the conclusion of the proceedings”.Julian’s wife, Stella, also expressed “immense gratitude” to Julian’s supporters on Tuesday following the announcement.
