NRL: Elliott Whitehead and Trent Robinson revealed a post game confrontation after a tackle from the Raiders captain left Brandon Smith badly injured.
Trent Robinson has been accused of a character assassination after the Roosters coach took aim at Elliot Whitehead following their Round 26 clash.
“I don’t think it’s right to say what has been said about Elliott Whitehead. It’s like defamation, if he’s not charged then you’re just taking an overview of his entire career. “Sam Walker had just left the field, he’d have known season over for Walker. Brandon Smith, possibly season over. But I can understand his frustration.”
