Television broadcasters Todd Kalas and Geoff Blum initially entered the new year without a contract for the 2023 baseball season, inviting wonder about the future of AT&T SportsNet Southwest’s broadcast booth. Both Blum and Kalas’ contracts expired Dec. 31, according to multiple people with knowledge of the situation, but were resolved in time to ensure their return for a seventh season together calling games.
Both Blum and Kalas are team employees while field reporter Julia Morales is employed by AT&T SportsNet Southwest. Morales will return for her 11th season in 2023, as will radio broadcasters Robert Ford and Steve Sparks.More Astros News
