He has started 43 of the Astros’ first 85 games, though, mostly splitting time with Jake Meyers in center field. He also missed 20 games on the injured list with lower back tightness, returning May 8.

He entered Monday hitting .276 against sliders, before lining Smith’s to left-center for the double.
