The ASX 200 ended the day up on Wednesday by 0.68 per cent. According to Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood, the market has extended its positive run, ending up for the fifth day in a row. The key sectors which moved ahead were the tech sector, consumer discretionary stocks and industrial stocks. “The ASX 200 almost 0.7 per cent higher – 47 points,” he said. “Well and truly back above the 7,000 mark.”
