The Australian share market is in the red in early trade, while Wall Street has ended lower after a Bloomberg report saying tech giant Apple plans to recruit fewer people.
The Australian share market has lost ground in the first hour of trade following a slide on Wall Street.The Dow Jones index fell 0.7pc to 31,073, the S&P 500 index fell 0.8pc to 3,831, and the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.8pc to 11,360
The All Ordinaries index fell 0.2pc to 6,876, while the ASX 200 index fell 0.2pc to 6,675 at 10:30am AEST The best performers on the ASX 200 were lithium brine miner Lake Resources , investment firm Pendal Group , and oil firm Beach Energy .
