AMP has offloaded its international infrastructure equity business within its Collimate Capital unit to DigitalBridge Group for $462 million, the company said on Thursday.
The deal could provide total value of $699 million which would include approximately $57 million in retained future performance fees and an additional $180 million “contingent on future fund raisings,” AMP said. The transaction is set to close in the fourth quarter of 2022. The sale of the international infrastructure equity business comes after the $430 million sale of its domestic infrastructure and real estate business announced on Wednesday and the $578 million sale of its infrastructure debt platform that completed in February.
These deals place a value of over $2 billion on the Collimate Capital franchise, according to AMP, which rises to $2.5 billion when factoring in the maximum earn-outs.
