Small and mid-cap investor Mirrabooka has announced a full-year profit of $6.7 million to 30 June, up 4.4 per cent from this time last year.

Mirrabooka announced a final dividend at 6.5¢ per share, fully franked and a special fully franked dividend of 2¢ per share, following strong realised capital gains for the year. This brings total dividends for the year to 12¢ per share.P/ASX Small and Mid Cap 50 Accumulation benchmark return of -13.5 per cent, which they said was due to a focus on industrials over resource companies.

“This saw relatively good performance from the Small and Mid Cap 50 Resources Accumulation Index, which was only down only 1.8 per cent over the 12-month period. The Small and Mid Cap 50 Industrials Accumulation Index, which is the main focus of Mirrabooka’s investment activities,New companies added to the portfolio included JB Hi-Fi, Computershare, Worley and Bapcor. Mirrabooka also participated in the IPOs for IPD Group and Chrysos.
