CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski says the market will kick off with a loss this morning, which reflects a “disappointing session” on Wall Street.

“We’re going to see the market kick off with a loss this morning, down by a little over 0.1 of a per cent”, he told Sky News Australia.

“In the early part of the US session, we saw US stocks doing quite nicely, in fact, the Nasdaq at one stage was up by around 2.3 per cent at its best levels, and the S&P 500 was up by around one and a half per cent”.
